A NEW WORD & THE VERY ESSENCE OF HOUSE OF HYGGE 

We assume you know the feeling: watching someone doing something fun, wishing you were in their place? In House of Hygge, our mission is to give people a break from real life. As employees, we receive written warnings unless skiing on powder days. Our CEO calls himself skibum… The hierarchy is quite flat in our organization, and we have a lot of fun.

Still, there are lots of fascinating people inspiring us. Max & Magdog are such individuals, Ildsjeler making bold choices and living life to its fullest. Max living in a van above the arctic circle as a photographer, and Magdog as a surfer living in a suitcase (no shit).

Hygge has been included in the Oxford dictionary and we do take some credit for that. Next word up is SKUØNSKELIG meant to replace misunnelig, which actually has a very negative meaning. Be inspired by Max & Magdogs movies, remember the word SKUØNSKELIG, and follow your dreams.
