Safety

House of Hygge offers CE certified products, specially designed and made exclusively for the activity of Slackline. In 2007 we introduced the line lock that allows all our systems to be used “knot-free.” All our products are CE certified and have undergone rigorous testing. Safety is a major concern of ours; when you walk on one of our lines, you can rest assured you’re walking on quality. We walked the same line a thousand meters up in the air. Here are just some of the reasons you should choose our products:

  •  All of our products are developed in-house, specifically designed and CE certified for this activity, making them the absolute best available.
  • Our systems are knot free! Our own invention, the patented line lock makes our favorite pastime just a little bit more accessible and hassle-free.
  • Our lines have higher tension ratings and durability than for example regular climbing webbing—in fact, we have worn out countless climber’s webbings by using them for Slackline, and we have talked with others who experienced the same. Our lines have a rated tensile strength of 21 kN.
  • Our lines have perfect elasticity. This simplifies the tightening of the mounted system. Further, it also minimizes the risk of uncontrollable falls, a risk much more associated with the use of, e.g., regular climbing webbings.
  • You have a choice of several different designs and colorways! New this year are pink and yellow lines, Norwegian (Red, White and Blue) and Swedish (Yellow/Blue) lines, and a Reggae-style webbing!
  • Our slings measure 200 cm and are extremely durable, with a sewn loop on each end for an optimum utility-to-weight ratio.
  • Storage and transportation bag and User’s Manual included in all Slackline kits.
  • Our “Large” kit comes with the offer of our own, in-house developed tightening system, which makes it possible to mount lines of up to 35 meters of Slackline challenge—no winch, crane or heavy industrial equipment is necessary to have fun on a Slackline! This system is the first in a series of forthcoming innovations in tightening.
