Slakk Line AS was founded in the spring of 2004 as we discovered a mounting interest for Slackline walking. It all started with play and relaxation during a climbing trip in Yosemite. We learned that Slackline walking is well suited for exercise, relaxation, fun and games; but most importantly it is socially inclusive, whether you’re walking the line with local kids in the Caribbean or with friends at your local park.
6 years of intense focus on product development has brought us to the point where we now design and manufacture the best products on the market. Our values are reflected in our products: When you walk on one of our lines, you will be walking on the safest, best, most durable product available. For example, you will not have to tie knots. The mountain is our great passion, so you will always find plenty of dazzling pics and stories from climbing expeditions in these pages. It was with the climbing community that it all originated, and we have taken the skills learned from climbing and applied them in developing Slackline as a safe activity. Safety is very important to us: When walking on one of our lines, rest assured that you are walking on quality; we walked the same line a thousand meters up in the air. Still, we must ask our customers to mount their line in such a way that they’re never more than 1 meter off the ground when on the line.
We always go that extra mile to keep our customers satisfied. If you have suggestions for product improvement, perhaps some new product ideas, or any kind of comment, please contact us.
